In animation this term we got set a task to create a ten seconds title sequences in which could link in with our video film. We first started with research about old and new title sequences in which we can get inspiration to make our own. We then done a mind map with idea we came up with, i choose to do a horror theme title sequence because it easy because we then doing the same in video. I then designed a title brand name for the title sequence which I called it raven. I then designed a storyboard in which started with a girl ghost in the college toilettes. It then zooms in and you then see a raven flying through the forest and then it end with the title brand name I designed. I designed the title sequences through drawing the pictures first and then photo shopping them and making the background blend in with the pictures.
The title sequence target audience would be 14-18 year olds because it is supposed to be scared and under 14 might get scared. Also it would be for both male and female because they both like horror movies.
To improve i must next time try and added in an eye and make it more like a title sequences and more effective but it is a good try for my first time in making one. The thing I down well is that I managed to photoshop the picture and place them into final cut pro and also its my first time using final cut pro.
If i could do it again i would change the way i done it and try and make to different and see what comes out better.
This title sequence would not be used on an actual movie because it not professional enough and compared to the title sequence I have looked at it does not actually look like a real one.
